Free PDF writer

Here’s one I really love. Everyone knows that PDF documents are the universal format that can be read by anyone with Adobe Acrobat (also free). However, most people believe that in order to create a PDF document you need the full-scale version of Adobe for hundreds of dollars. Not so, described below is a great FREE program that performs the task just as well (disclaimer – at least it seems so to me)

Create PDF documents on the fly — for Free!

Download it from: http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp The way it works is that once installed after you have created a file (Word, Excell, etc.) you click on “print.” When the “print” dialogue comes up click on the drop down box to select the printer, except you select “Cute PDF printer” from the list and then o.k. You will be then prompted to name it and choose where the file is to be saved (Directory/folder). Now you have your document saved as a PDF file, which you can then send by E-mail to anyone to read. You can also save the document in it’s original format.
